A bolt, a warning
Could be a sign, illuminating
Your words as
They tremble from your
soft familiar lips
Words flowing,
Wanting to be as
loud as the thunder
Wanting to be heard
Like a scream asking to be loved

like the rain amidst summer’s heat
Could this mean trouble?
Or could it be good news
